Job Overview

As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all guests.

This housekeeper position could be live in or live out if you live within 5 minutes from East Mayfield, Edinburgh EH9 1SD. If live in we would provide a one bedroom flat. Salary to be discussed depending on hours and if live in. This is a full time permanent position.

Duties

Answering all emails, completing bookings, all other administration required.

Assist with guest requests.

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities according to established standards. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed. Report any maintenance issues. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly manner.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding service. must be competent with using hotel booking systems or have the ability to learn.
