WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR




The Project Manager plays a crucial role within our Programmes and Project Management team, overseeing individual projects, either as standalone initiatives or as part of wider cross-pillar programmes. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and a proven ability to lead and motivate project teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, implementing communication strategies, managing project execution, and ensuring successful project delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

The Project Manager role also calls for business acumen and a commercial mindset giving the ability to understand our agency and our clients' businesses. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must, with a key focus on empathy and compassion. A problem solver or someone that enjoys puzzles would be an excellent fit. The agency world has many challenges, so the ability to differentiate the business critical projects from the "nice-to-have"s is essential.



WHAT YOU WILL DO



Programme and Project Management



Project Planning & Execution:

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget. Ensure alignment with overall programme objectives and business value.

Task Management & Coordination:

Oversee the execution of all project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and to the required quality standards. Manage interdependencies between tasks and identify potential roadblocks.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

Develop and implement communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and issues. Effectively communicate with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Risk & Issue Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact project delivery. Proactively address any challenges or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Project Management Methodology Implementation:

Utilize appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Adapt methodologies as needed to meet the specific requirements of each project.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and overall performance. Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders.

Collaboration:

Foster a collaborative environment within the Programmes and Project Management team and across other departments.

Best Practice Definition:

Contribute to the definition and implementation of Project Management best practices and standards within the organization.

Feedback Collection

and Action:

Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve project effectiveness and address concerns.

Team Support:

Provide support and guidance to team members on project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Knowledge Transfer and Learning:

Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team to enhance overall team capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED



Proven experience in project management, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery. Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and their practical application. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead and motivate project teams. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Proficient in project management tools and software. A strong and flexible work ethic; able to work under pressure. While a good understanding of the marketing and advertising industries is a plus, it is not essential.
