Overview:
The Manager role in our Customer Success Management team is a leader and advisor to a group of Customer Success Managers who directly support a set of high value, strategic accounts. The Manager, CSM is an expert who can advise their team in building, maintaining and leveraging customer relationships through a strong blend of Alteryx product knowledge and business consultation focusing on customer retention and growth.
What you will do:Mentor team members through observation of their work and develop learning plans to improve their abilities, skills and knowledge of the Alteryx platform, CSM strategies, and client facing skills. Work with sales leaders to drive sales through optimizing processes, training of team, and development of a culture of collaboration, learning, and success. Guide team through weekly 1x1 sessions, to ensure they are fostering & building relationship with assigned customers, which include: increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and long-term customer success. Drive team initiatives for continued success, growth, scaling and development Ensure team is proactively working with customers to establish critical goals, or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals. Work with other departments across Alteryx to understand where the CSM Org can partner, assist and provide deeper insight to strategic customers. Conduct enablement sessions to provide hands on training of the Alteryx Designer and Server products. Remain up-to-date on Alteryx solutions and products and maintain familiarity and adherence to all Company methods and procedures.

What we're looking for:3+ years of management experience. Experience managing a remote team is preferred. 4+ years of experience in technical implementations, sales engineering, or analytics consultant work Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations which may involve multiple departments and levels of the organization (ie. Line of business, executives, Information Technology, procurement, etc.). Demonstrated ability to mentor direct reports, co-workers, or peers through constructive feedback or learning plans. Experience setting long-term goals and guiding projects, people and processes towards attainment Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to show good judgment in decision making Demonstrated ability to work under the pressure of a constantly changing and rapidly evolving work environment and industry Ability to travel up to 50% of the time or as business needs arise
