How you\'ll make a difference

We\'re looking for a Manager, Banking Volatility Management who is passionate about proactively managing and mitigating volatility arising from the use of derivative financial instruments. We expect the successful candidate to become part of a high performing team and this role would suit a candidate who is looking to expand their technical accounting skillset and develop their influencing of, and communication with, senior management. The role involves the line management of one team member and supporting their development of hedge accounting technical knowledge.

What you\'ll bring

• Knowledge of hedge accounting treatments for Treasury instruments
• Knowledge of interest rate derivatives in the context of a retail bank, and the financial mathematics linked to their accrual and valuations.
• Experience communicating on the drives of hedge ineffectiveness and P&L volatility
• Ability to manage the execution of the monthly hedge accounting
• Comfortable in dealing with complex application environments and dealing with IT colleagues
