A growing FMCG group is seeking to hire a newly created Management Accountant to take ownership of the management accounts production with particular emphasis on revenue, commercial project analysis, forecasting and budget control. The key accountabilities will be:
- Run a month end and produce simple management accounts for review with Head of Finance and MD
- Review P&L and Balance Sheet for anomalies and make appropriate corrections
- Work with sales teams to assist with the promotions/customer refunds for marketing services etc.
- Measure actual costs against budget
- Post depreciation, accrual and prepayment, payroll journals
- Liaising with 3rd party warehouse providers
- Manage a team of 3 staff covering accounts payable, sales order invoicing, reconciliations and credit control
- Assisting with statutory accounts and audit
