Management Accountant | Full time and Permanent | Rotherham | Salary up to \xc2\xa343,000 + 10% bonus

Ashley Kate are thrilled to be supporting our client in the FMCG industry who are searching for a Management Accountant to join the team at their Rotherham site. As the Management Accountant (Site Accountant), your core role will be to provide timely and accurate information of site performance and costs to assist the Site Finance Controller and the Site Leadership team in decision making and analysis. There is an expectation for you to travel and support another site in West Yorkshire 1-2 days a week.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
\xc2\xb7Weekly/monthly site performance analysis
\xc2\xb7Complete and review site KPI\'s
\xc2\xb7Complete accurate and timely product costings, understanding the drivers for change
\xc2\xb7Understand and investigate production variances
\xc2\xb7Provide constructive challenge to Manufacturing and Supply Chain and drive improvements
\xc2\xb7Attend and contribute towards Material Change Meetings & Factory Development Meetings
\xc2\xb7Attend and contribute to Site Accountants forums & Central Finance meetings when required
\xc2\xb7Assist in site budget and forecasting
\xc2\xb7Overhead Cost centre management
\xc2\xb7CAPEX tracking and forecasting
\xc2\xb7Identify opportunities to develop and improve financial processes
\xc2\xb7Assist in highlighting stock control issues
\xc2\xb7Assist with year-end audit
\xc2\xb7Maintain fixed asset schedule
\xc2\xb7Assist accounts payable team to resolve parked invoice issues
\xc2\xb7Complete Balance Sheet Recs
\xc2\xb7Update JD Edwards with up to date bill of material information to ensure accurate materials ordering
\xc2\xb7Assist in the rolling over of BOMs to the following Financial Year ensuring accuracy versus reported movements year on year
\xc2\xb7Cover for the Site Finance Controllers when required

Key knowledge, skills and experience:
\xc2\xb7Management Accountant level experience or similar
\xc2\xb7FMCG/ food manufacturing experience is highly desirable
\xc2\xb7CIMA, ACCA, or ACA - Fully or part qualified
\xc2\xb7High level of excel and data analytical skills
\xc2\xb7Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) software beneficial (but not essential)
\xc2\xb7Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
\xc2\xb7Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a self- starter
\xc2\xb7Good eye for details
\xc2\xb7Good people engagement & communication skills
