Role background Reporting in to the Financial Controller, the role holder will primarily be responsible for assisting with the production of the Management Accounts, managing the day-to-day financial transactions within the company, and supporting ongoing system development projects. The role will be based at our head office in Macclesfield with some limited travel to sites around the UK. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced company; enabling excellent career progression for the right individual. This is a highly commercial role, supporting projects developing areas of the business, which will involve a great deal of interaction with the senior team. You will be a part/newly qualified accountant equipped to manage the transactional team of 6. Key Responsibilities

• Team management
• Preparation of management accounts
• Reconciliations; Gross profit, Balance sheet, Intercompany
• Management of transactional finance team
• Accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of board pack inputs and interpretation of the results
• Management of the unit stocking facilities (ensuring facilities are maximised consistently, cash management with respect to movements, monthly recs)
• Supporting year-end audit
• Payroll support (management of ADP Payroll)
• Ad hoc problem-solving for transactional matters
• Supporting projects (new finance system, new payments system, acquisition integration etc. as they arise)

Essential Attributes/Experience

• Candidates must be customer-centric, Superbike Factory places customer interests at the heart of the business.

• Qualified or training towards (ICAEW, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS)
• Excellent Excel skills and IT skills generally able to analyse and interpret large data sets
• Demonstrate a genuine passion and desire to be part of the Superbike Factory story
• Technically strong and excellent academics (graduate)
• Challenge the status quo and look to improve the reporting environment
• Able to manage and prioritise workload in fast moving environment
• Self-starter, commercially focused and solution-orientated
• Experience in managing transactional finance team
