Opportunity: Management Accountant at Hyde

We're seeking a talented Management Accountant to play a key role in our Finance team, supporting our Property Services and Asset & Sustainability teams. Your Role as a Management Accountant

You'll work closely with key business areas, particularly in reactive maintenance, ensuring financial clarity and efficiency across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:


Leading on monthly management accounts reviews with the Property Services team. Building strong relationships with budget managers, leading monthly accounts review meetings. Supporting budget managers in optimising financial resources and making informed decisions. Preparing monthly maintenance accruals and financial adjustments for accurate reporting. Designing and producing bespoke reports for responsive and void repairs, providing insights for operational improvements. Producing and reviewing monthly salary reconciliations for key teams. Collating and reviewing information for the annual budget and monthly reforecasts. Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a high-performing finance function. Conducting and improving balance sheet reconciliations. Leading and supporting process improvements to enhance financial services.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates at different stages of their accountancy career, provided they bring the right skills and ambition. Ideally, you will have:


At least 2 years' experience in a management accounting role. Experience in supporting budget managers and managing budget forecasting. Confidence in stakeholder communication at all levels. Exposure to financial operations in real estate, housebuilding, business services, or housing management (desirable but not essential). Part-qualified or fully qualified as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
