Job Description

Marc Daniels are urgently recruiting for a Management Accountant (hybrid working) to join a huge international media fashion business on an interim basis which for the right person will quickly move to a permanent role. You will be right for this role if you are available immediately or at short notice (2 weeks).

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Providing coaching and support to direct reports.
• Implementing, documenting, and monitoring accounting controls.
• Weekly prepare Cash Forecast (collections and disbursements) for the UK business
• Month end close management including preparation of journal entries in SAP for accounting adjustments as required Including Revenue Recognition (accrual/deferral entries)
• Monthly analysis of actual results to budget.
• Preparation of gap analysis
• Ensuring that detailed balance sheet reconciliations are prepared monthly.
• Supervising regular clear down of balance sheet accounting entries
• Support the quarterly forecasting of P&L and cashflow for the UK business; along with annual three (3) year plan process
• Prepare documentation for external auditors and consultants as necessary in relation to the UK business
• Standardize and document policies and processes in line with companywide objectives to implement SOX and other control improvements
• Work with outsourcing partner to ensure timely and accurate processing for O2C, P2P and R2R, where applicable
• Other ad-hoc reporting, due diligence assistance and analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong accounting skills: management experience of AP, AR, inter-company processes, month end close procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop multiple solutions
• Excellent proficiency in Excel
