Opportunity description

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a Tech Business in London on a 3-month contract (possible extension) offering \xc2\xa3350 per day inside IR35. This role can be fully remote or hybrid working in their central London offices. Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounting process, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain advanced budgeting and forecasting models using advanced Excel functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial efficiencies.
• Utilise Xero accounting software to process and maintain all financial transactions and reports.
• Provide insights into financial risks and opportunities through data analytics.
• Assist in financial audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Implement and uphold internal controls for regulatory compliance and asset protection.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated track record as a Management Accountant, with a preference for experience in the software or mobile telecoms sector.
• Proficient in using Xero accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially in macro creation.
• Thorough grasp of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
• Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
