Job Description

Partnered with a leading FMCG business in Ealing, I am searching for a PQ Management Accountant on a full time permanent basis. They operate to a hybrid working model with only 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.Key responsibilties of this role include:

• Lead the Overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking and reporting processes
• Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on Overhead spends to key stakeholders
• Drive and provide financial support on all Overhead related projects
• Continually look for and challenge ways of reducing Overhead costs
• Ensure all Supply Co accounting and reporting is timely, complete and accurate
• Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with the Tax and other finance teams to ensure Intrastat, tax and other relevant external financial reporting is timely and accurate
• Work with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate processes are being followed and KPIs achieved for all SSC work associated with your areas of responsibility
• Identify and drive opportunities to transfer further work to the Shared Service team
• Ensure schedule of authority (SOAs) limits and SAP release strategies are up-to-date and fit-for-purpose
• Support the UK Finance Manager on financial audits, finance projects and other ad hoc work on a need basis

Ideal person for this role:

• Working towards a formal accounting qualification (ideally ACCA)
• At least 2-3 years experience in a finance related role
• Experience working in an FMCG or Manufacturing setting would be highly desirable, but not essential.
• Experience using SAP would be highly desirable but not essential
