Job Description

A well-established company, of which are predicting a substantial growth over the next year are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed term contract to assist them through their expansion!

Sharp Consultancy are elated to be working with a continuously growing engineering company based in the Barnsley area. This company has rapidly grown and achieved great success over the last 12 months, of which they have forecasted to continue for at least the next year. With this being said, this is a 6-month interim role with the potential to be extended due to the extreme expansion that this company is encountering.

You will become an essential part of the team, with responsibilities involving frequent financial analysis, forecasting and reporting, as well as the opportunity to assist with ad-hoc projects, as and when they occur.

Key responsibilities include:
-Produce and present monthly management accounts.
-Developing accurate forecasts, analysis and reports.
-Accurate balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
-Assisting with year-end audits.
-Locating any operational problems with the view to resolve them.
-Discover opportune areas that will assist with the consistent success of the company.
-Assist with any ad-hoc projects.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
-Qualified or part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
-Experience of working within the engineering sector or similar.
-Over 1 year experience of working within a similar role.
-The ability to communicate well, within report findings and presentations.
-The ability to influence support within opportune areas.
-Excellent computer and Excel skills/experience.
-Using ERPs at a sufficient level.
