Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations Create and develop menus, ensuring high-quality and innovative dishes Supervise and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and inventory management Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role. Experience working in an Asian / Japanese restaurant is ideal. Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavor combinations Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent leadership and team management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred, but not required

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour
