Make Ready Support WorkerRate: xc2xa311.67 p/hHours: 30 hpw (24/7 work pattern)Key Duties:-Contribute to ensuring the highest standards of environmental cleanliness within designated area of work
xe2x80x93 Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained both in the interior and exterior of vehicles in line with agreed standards
-Ensure on-board equipment such as medical devices are clean, functioning and in good state of repairxe2x80x93 Drive / move vehicles within and between stations to facilitate cleaning / decontaminationxe2x80x93 Undertake Vehicle Daily Inspection (VDI) checks on lights, wiper blades, fluid levels etc and report defects / organise repair where appropriate
xe2x80x93 Ensure clinical response bags are appropriately stocked to agreed levels
xe2x80x93 Liaise with Station Officer / Supervisor daily to ensure optimum service delivery
-Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean, in good state of repair and stored correctly whilst not in use
-Dispose of waste / sharps in accordance with policy and procedure. Replenish household / clinical waste as required
-Identify areas where improvement is required and promote innovation where possible-To monitor / replenish supplies within each operational vehicle / stock room while ensuring stock rotation is in place
-Ensure equipment is in good state of repair and report any defects / missing propertyEssential Criteria:-3 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language (Grades A-C/9-4)and-1 years' Experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.
OR
-Relevant vocational qualification e.g. NVQ/QCF/RQF (Level 2) and 1 year experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.OR-Worked for at least 3 years where you have gained experience within a service discipline or department such Support Services.-Currently hold a Category C1 driving licence OR present evidence of attainment of a Category C1 driving licence prior to commencement of the post
xe2x80x93 Be willing to work shifts including evening, weekends and public holidays
