Job Description

Astute are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician for an established firm in the Shropshire area. With over 10 years of experience in anaerobic digestion engineering, our client now has well over 20 plants around the UK. As a result of their continued success, they now need to add a Maintenance Technician to their ranks to service their existing plants.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance tasks on anaerobic digestion plants throughout the UK
• Monitoring and diagnosing problems with the use of the plant operation system
• Assisting in the setup of the associated systems and conduct repairs or adjustments when necessary
• The maintenance of the feeding, heating and pumping systems
• Inspection and testing of alarm and functionality systems
• Reporting defects
• Taking samples as required under advice from the biological support team
• Attending emergency call outs and work on a rota including weekends and evenings when necessary
• Other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Proven Maintenance Technician experience
• A good understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• General maintenance process knowledge
• A good working knowledge of tools, devices and common appliances
• A full driving licence
• Excellent problem-solving skills and dexterity

Salary & Package
What\'s on offer for this exciting role:

• A salary DOE, between \xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa330,000
