Maintenance Technician - \xc2\xa336,054 per annum plus shift allowance (working double days), 33 days holiday, Pension, on-site parking - Patchway, North Bristol.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills, to join a busy manufacturing company based in Patchway, Bristol. Working as part of a small maintenance team and reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive breakdown work on production machinery and site facilities.

2 weeks on earlies, 2 weeks on late shift patter,39 hours per week (Mon to Fri)

The Maintenance Technician will work as part of a multi-skilled team and will carry out maintenance work on a wide range of production machinery in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will also be involved in lean manufacturing activities and project work.

Skilled and experience:

\xc2\xb7Indentured Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship
\xc2\xb7ONC in relevant discipline (preferred)
\xc2\xb7Previous experience in a similar role - ideally within a manufacturing environment
\xc2\xb7Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
\xc2\xb7Experience of working with PLCs
\xc2\xb7Able to fault find and diagnose machine failures, ensuring minimum downtime

The successful candidate can be either electrically or mechanically biased - however ideally you would be multi-skilled. In addition you will have a flexible approach to your working hours and be willing to swap your shift pattern to suit the needs of the business.
