Maintenance Supervisor
Our team are excited to have the opportunity for an energetic and driven individual to join us at our Lomond Woods Holiday Park (G83 8QP). As our Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the
holiday home and general park
maintenance, hot tub
testing and cleaning
and groundwork while directing and motivating your small team. Working alongside your team, reporting to our Park Coordinator and liaising with our other departments
including area maintenance and area landscaping
collaboration and communication will be the key to a successful and safe operation.
This is a permanent position with hours being 35-45 hours per week, working 9am-6pm in the summer (5pm in winter), working 5 days out of 7. Due to the nature of the business weekend work is required set on a rota basis.
The Role
Maintaining a safe working environment and well-presented Holiday Park, including all accommodations, grounds and facilities with an efficient approach to working
Daily hot tub maintenance/testing
Assisting with the daily park operations by ensuring that your maintenance team are organised and achieving their goals
Working closely with your team, sharing your skills and knowledge to provide support. Being physically involved in all areas to be able to effectively lead and motivate your team
Park projects including moving and siting static caravans (training provided), creating new pitches, renovating facilities
Reporting and recording activities using our Health and Safety software systems
Communicating regularly both with your team and managers
Liaising with the Park Coordinator and Area Maintenance Manager to plan and prioritise jobs, and to share ideas for efficiency and improvements
Collaborating with the Area Landscaping/Project teams to ensure a great Holiday Park environment is maintained all year round.
Experience and Skills
Experience in maintenance (basic plumbing and electrics)
Experience in the hospitality industry
Understanding of hot tub operations and maintenance preferred (inhouse training provided)
Supervisory skills to ensure a driven team and supported team
Excellent awareness of our Health & Safety procedures and requirements
IT competent as all systems are online using a variety of software
Ability to be self driven and to motivate your team
Full Manual Driving Licence is Essential
