Undertaking Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks
Manage first line response to any associated service request
Carrying out installations of small equipment
Painting, wall paper and decoration
Electrical troubleshooting
Replace tubes, lamps and lamp fittings
Minor room, corridor and refurbishment
Unblock sinks, toilets and drains as required
Repair leaks, fit new tap washers, repair ballcocks etc
Light Plumbing installations as required
Adjust doors, tighten hinges, change or fit locks and door closer
Water testing for temperatures and diseases etc
Any other duties of a similar nature as required by the hotel management.
Requirements
Due to the requirement of this role you will need to hold a valid driving licence
Work experience as a Hotel maintenance or similar role
Proven property/building maintenance experience in carpentry, plumbing, wall paper, tiling and decoration works
Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment
Flexible with shift patterns, early mornings and late nights.
