Position: Maintenance Operative
Monday to Friday, day shift
Salary Range: \xc2\xa312.00 - \xc2\xa314.00 per hour
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team in Evesham,
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our food production machinery. Your role will be vital in ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of food production machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out repairs and replace faulty components when necessary
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
- Collaborate with the production team to address maintenance concerns promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Document maintenance activities and provide reports as needed
- Previous experience in maintenance operations is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management
