r, where your role will involve overseeing maintenance operations with an emphasis on leadership, coordination, and administrative tasks.



As our Hub & Maintenance Manager, you'll lead a skilled team of Technicians, Gas Engineers, Electricians, and Hub Administrators, ensuring that all maintenance activities are efficiently planned, resourced, and completed to the highest standard. Your role is all about coordinating team performance, maintaining compliance, managing budgets, and keeping our maintenance operations running like clockwork.



This is a people-first, leadership-driven role -- setting clear expectations, providing regular coaching and support, and creating a positive, unified team culture. You'll oversee the workflow, monitor progress, and ensure all jobs are completed safely, on time, and to standard, while continuously looking for ways to improve systems and service delivery.



Key Responsibilities



Team Leadership:

Lead, inspire, and support a team of Maintenance Engineers and Hub Administrators, setting clear goals and cultivating a collaborative and encouraging culture.

Guest Experience:

Promote a responsive maintenance culture that supports excellent guest satisfaction, by ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard and issues are resolved quickly.

Performance Management:

Monitor team performance through regular check-ins, feedback, and structured reviews, supporting personal development and recognising growth.

Resource Management:

Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the maintenance team has the tools, equipment, and materials needed to succeed.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all maintenance activities fully comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational standards

Problem Solving:

Quickly identify and resolve operational challenges, continuously improving systems, workflows, and service delivery.

Training and Development:

Create opportunities for professional growth by identifying training needs, mentoring team members, and promoting skill development across the department.



Requirements



Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within Maintenance, Facilities Management, or similar operational environments, with responsibility for team management and performance. Effective leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivation, coaching, and team development. Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with experience in scheduling, planning, and coordinating maintenance operations. Skilled in overseeing budgets, resources, and external contractors to ensure operational objectives are met effectively. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a focused approach to maintaining compliance and safety standards. Proficient communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and operational excellence. Ability to thrive in an unpredictable environment while maintaining attention to detail and forward planning. Available and committed to fulfilling the needs of a seasonal business, including working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as necessary.
