Maintenance Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• The successful candidate will work closely with cross functional teams to introduce the new production facility.
• Assist equipment providers with the installation and commissioning of new production equipment.
• Manage contractor control and supervision.
• Develop and maintain planned maintenance schedules for OEM service, document, and plan internal TPM and PPM schedules.
• Work with production engineering to introduce SAP PM module (S4/HANA).
• Identify critical maintenance spares and introduce the Inventory control system, monitoring goods received and stock levels.
• Manage, develop, and lead a team of maintenance technicians, eventually working across a three-shift system, to provide support aligned to the manufacturing function.
• Complete corrective actions from internal / external audit reports and service reports.
• Benchmarking of performance and utilisation of KPI to monitor performance and drive results.
• Data collection and analysis of failure modes, identifying improvement opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• Qualified to a minimum HNC level in a relevant Electrical / Mechanical maintenance discipline with relevant experience.
• IOSH/ NEBOSH certificate preferred.
• The position requires an individual with excellent maintenance engineering skills, evidenced by qualifications and/or is time-served, a hands-on approach is essential.
• Experience of working within a continuous manufacturing / production environment.
• Knowledge of SAP PM module CMMS system.
• A practical approach to problem solving incorporating robust countermeasures.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate with cross-functional teams plus being a key team player is essential to this role.
• You have good interpersonal skills and be a proactive engineer with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
• A Proven ability to coach and develop individuals and teams.
• Experience of departmental budget control.
