We're looking for an experienced and friendly hands-on Maintenance Managerwho has an exceptional techincal skills, an eye for detail and is able to deliver a flawless service to join our team.
The Role
As a Maintenace Manager you will play a key role in ensuring efficient maintenance operations up to hotel brand standards, provide excellent guest experience and achieve 100% guest satisfaction.
Your key duties will include:
Manage the manentance service and team, by planning and allocating work duties to Team Members to ensure good productivety, room availability and guest satisifcation.
Lead by example by participating in hands-on maintenance tasks as appropriate and act as point of contact as expert for maintenance related jobs.
Report and log any maintenance defects found in the rooms and assigned areas.
Manage, efficiently, stock control and the maintenance of equipment
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. to ensure quality standards.
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office.
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
Assist management in training, scheduling, follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Work with Operations Manager to ensure sound Health, Safety and Security practices, and oversee emergency and evaucation procedures.
What weneed from you
As well as having previous experience in Facilities Management role, with appropriate knowledge and/or qualififcationa (eg: HS, legionella, plumbing, electrical etc). You'll have an absolute commitment to delivering exceptional level of guest service, a charismatic personality with good communication and organisational skills. You'll have a can-do attitude and be able to respond flexibly to different guest requests and situations. A good command of the English language is essential.
