The Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager join our team. As our Maintenance Manager, you will be an important part of the Hotel Leadership Team playing a vital role in delivering a great guest experience by working on your own initiative to ensure that the hotel is always operating at the highest standards. You will manage all proactive and reactive maintenance, external contractors, and hotel teams in line with the departmental budget. You will support HOD\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure all teams are correctly trained in the use of equipment and health & safety standards within the hotel. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for managing the wider Maintenance Team within the property, ensuring the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities are met and completed to a high standard. The Ideal Candidate: We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Maintenance Manager that comes with tonnes of experience working within a similar role in a branded property and experience managing departmental budgets as well as have a trade in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/decorating and general building maintenance. As leader of the Maintenance Team you\'ll provide flexible coverage which will include some shift work, weekends and may also include \'on call duties\' as and when required. You must be able to work to deadlines, be confident in liaising with contractors and taking responsibility for health and safety. You must be organised, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate across all levels. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
