We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our operations, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Duties
Conduct regular inspections of Laser machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and methods.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role is preferred.
Electrical knowledge for circuitry and fault finding.
Familiarity with industrial equipment and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
City & Guilds or BTEC in an engineering discipline or time served.
Mechanical Engineering knowledge
Pnueumatic and hydraulic knowledge would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of machinery electrical and electronic circuits and systems.
Training on and with current machinery and plant will be given during probation period and support from all team members will be offered to allow successful transition into business.
Training for further specific job-related tasks that require training will be offered once probation period has been successfully passed.
