Maintenance Engineer (mechanical)
Job Description
Angus Dundee Distillers currently has an exciting opportunity for a time served Maintenance Engineer to join us on a full time, permanent basis within our Coatbridge Site. This is a fantastic, day shift position which offers great work-life balance.
We are a long established and fast growing Scotch Whisky Company which owns two beautiful Distilleries- Tomintoul and Glencadam. The Engineering Department has a key role in helping us achieve our mission to provide our customers with the products they want, when they want them, at the right price and quality.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the principle responsibilities of the role are to support all aspects of site Production, Operations and Development.

What we're looking for:
The ideal candidate for this role will have: A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Due to the nature of this position, we will be considering only time served Engineers for this position. A great attention to detail and excellent fault finding skills. Good diagnostic skills with the ability to carry out route cause analysis to help drive continuous improvement solutions across the site. A key focus on delivering all works to a high standard whilst conforming to all required and relevant legislation. Experience of working within a similar environment (working within the spirits or bottling industry would be a distinct advantage). The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with the company requirements. The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively.
