We are recruiting for an experienced time served maintenance electrician to work within our established maintenance team at our Sawmill on the outskirts of Lockerbie.
Candidates must be willing to work to an alternating 4 on/4off shift pattern, to include day shift & night shift.
Duties & Responsibilities
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical control & basic mechanical systems.
To cover all maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, electrical systems.
To complete PPM's in line with KPI agreements.
To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility.
To undertake minor installation works such as lighting and small power installations.
To respond to breakdown requests, providing a professional and timely service.
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines.
Skills & Background Required:
Recognised professional qualifications e.g. Recognised Apprenticeship
Experience in PLC controlled machinery and 3 phase motors.
PPM and reactive maintenance experience.
Proven electrical maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
Must be presentable and reliable.
Able to build good relationships at all levels.
Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities agreed to deadlines.
