Machinist - VTC

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Machinist, reporting to the Manufacturing Lead, to produce machine components to acceptable quality standards and in a timely manner.

To work safely, produce machine components to acceptable quality standards, & in a timely manner. Have involvement in all aspects of teamwork within their designated Product cell.

Main Accountabilities:

• Work in a safe manner, produce a quality product, achieve standard times, meet on time delivery requirements, Ensure compliance with Quality and HSE procedures.
• Compile Inspection reports for finished product, maintain traceability of parts.
• Record Quality Data
• Communication with Manufacturing Lead
• Participate in cell activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping through 5S Initiative.

You are meant for this job if:

• Essential: have completed a -year Industry recognised Apprenticeship.
• Essential: Secondary education.
• Problem-solving \xe2\x80\x93 ability to define problems.
• Product knowledge & HSES.
• Good organizational skills.
• Minimum 1 Years in a Machining environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Fluent spoken and written English
• Working knowledge of office tools and multiple company platforms. (SAP, MES)
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
