Company Overview:

Falco Packaging UK based in Hyde, Manchester are a Subsidiary Company of Falco Italy, a leading European supplier of specialist metal containers for the Industrial Packaging Industry.

Role Overview:

As a Machine setter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success and development of the manufacturing operation. You will be required to set up the production line to manufacture product to the highest quality standards, whilst ensuring company expectations on Health and Safety are always met. You will be expected to carry out regular line maintenance and servicing.

Skills:

Collaborate with internal production staff and external supply partners to optimise manufacturing efficiencies.

Drive improvement initiatives to enhance quality management processes, reduce lead times and increase efficiency.

Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure successful and smooth transition from sales to supply.

Candidate Profile:

Ideally you would be technically minded with some mechanical aptitude (would suit a car mechanic).

Possesses existing experience in a demanding production environment.

Strong background in working within accurate tolerances.

Has an understanding of production processes, ideally within a relatable field.

Natural ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively.

Able to work collaboratively and independently.

This role is primed for someone who is curious, detail orientated and quality conscious.

Working Hours:

Permanent, Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00 Although a certain amount of flexibility will be required.

Salary:

35,000 per annum [Overtime in addition when required] 25 days holiday, contributory pension
