At Nairn's, our strong values and positive culture have helped us grow into a trusted brand with a reputation for quality. We believe in developing our people, working as a team, and striving for excellence in everything we do.
What you'll be doing:

Running state of the art food production machinery
with precision, helping us consistently deliver top-quality products.
Carrying out product quality checks
and confidently stepping in when something's not right - your eye for detail helps keep our standards sky-high.
Troubleshooting minor equipment hiccups
and keeping your work area safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Building and preparing pallets
of finished goods, making sure everything is packed and ready to go.
Keeping accurate records
, both on paper and digitally - your attention to detail matters.
Taking ownership of safety and hygiene
- looking after yourself, your team, and the products we're proud of.
Getting hands-on
- some manual lifting is part of the role, but full training and support will be provided.
Whether you're experienced or new to the industry, we'll give you all the training you need during your probation to set you up for success.
What we're looking for:
We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable people who want to be part of a high-performing team. You'll thrive in this role if you:
Are a
keen learner
with a positive, can-do attitude.
Work
collaboratively
and communicate well with others.
Take pride in your work, with a sharp
eye for detail.
Can
follow instructions
and stay focused on quality and safety.
Manage your time effectively and can
stay on top of a busy shift.
Are
comfortable with physical tasks
and being on your feet in a fast-moving environment.
Have previous
production or manufacturing experience
- it's a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.
We're committed to providing a supportive environment, and we'll make sure you're trained and confident in your role - no matter your background.
Please note: candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Peffermill Road site.
