Job Description
KPI Recruititng are on the look out for a Machine Operator for our client based in Sutton.
As a Machine Operator you will be working Monday- Friday with the hours of 08:00 until 16:30.
This role primarily involves operating a machine to fold sheetmetal into shape, performing spot welding on metal parts, and punching stuns onto the metal components.
1) Operate Sheetmetal Folding Machine:
- Set up and operate the sheetmetal folding machine according to specifications.
- Interpret and follow detailed engineering drawings to ensure accurate folding of sheetmetal.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Make adjustments to the machine as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Inspect folded sheetmetal components for conformity to specifications.
- Use spot welding equipment to join metal parts together.
- Position and secure metal parts in the welding machine.
- Monitor welding process to control heat and welding time.
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Utilize a punching tool to create stuns on metal components.
- Align metal parts accurately for precise punching.
- Operate the punching machine to create stuns according to specifications.
- \xc2\xa310.94 plus over time up to \xc2\xa322.26 Per hour
