The role:




To assess Microsoft's releases within the M365 suite, assessing the impact on support teams and further action that may be needed by the technical teams, or general communication to SJP's internal community. It is also responsible for running the governance forum within Technology Operations to ensure that all teams with responsibilities within the M365 suite are in sync and joined up in terms of controls, future and other recommended changes.

Who we're looking for:



We are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker with strong communication skills, who can collaborate effectively across teams to drive M365 adoption and governance. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovation, ensuring seamless integration of M365 changes while fostering engagement and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:



Being responsible assessing the main changes in M365 and its component products within SJP and feeding into the governance group to agree any further action required. Track the product roadmap from Microsoft to inform the SJP technology roadmap for adoption and rollout of new tools and features to SJP users. Work with the product owners/SMEs for the component products (e.g. SharePoint, Exchange, etc.) Align the M365 products with the overall IT architecture and strategy. Maintain a roadmap of projects and upcoming changes across M365 Participate in shaping communications and adoption engagement around M365 changes, projects, policies, training and recommended use within the organisation. Promoting service innovation and improvements to continually evolve and develop O365. Own and run the M365 governance forum Ensure all SMEs In Technology Operations receive notification of the main / key changes In the M365 estate to ensure that controls In the subject matter areas are maintained and teams are aware of changes Ensure appropriate IT controls are In place as required Develop and maintain a communication strategy and regular communications so SJP Internal user base Build and maintain the M365 adoption roadmap, providing linkage between Microsoft's product roadmap and SJP's rollout of new services and tools through TIP or general communications and inclusion In TIP where changes require projects Ensure the M365 centre on SharePoint Is maintained and continually Improved Cultivate an environment which drives and embraces change and improvements to deliver a high level of service to our support teams. Establishing effective working relationships with SMEs In Technology Operations

Essential Criteria:



Strong knowledge and expertise of M365 platform and applications Extensive knowledge of automating processes and tasks using Office365 applications Experience aligning M365 products with IT architecture and strategy Key experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders of all levels

Desirable Criteria:



Qualified in ITIL4 certification - foundation or intermediate M365 certified such as fundamentals, administrator expert, endpoint administrator etc.
