Assist Security are looking to recruit
a security professional with excellent customer service skills to join our high-end luxury retail security team. You will be working at one of our store locations in London\xe2\x80\x93 Knightsbridge, Bond Street, New Bond Street and Slone Square.
Main function of the role:
You will be working as part of a team and first interaction with customers visiting the luxury brand store. You should be friendly but hold a high level of professionalism and discretion while working. Your role will consist of a high level of customer service and vigilance as you will be looking out for any theft or suspicious behaviour across the store / shop floor. As you are working closely with the sales associates for the brand, we look for officers who understand the sales driven working environment and how every member of staff including yourself as security creates the luxury brand image.
Pay Rate:

\xc2\xa311.00 to \xc2\xa312.50 an hour
Depending on what sites you are successful for.

Shift Pattern:
8-12 hours a day \xe2\x80\x93 depending on site & shift.
48-60 hours a week - Must be flexible to work across Monday to Sunday.
Shift Times:

09:00 to 22:00 your shift can vary between these times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working within luxury industry & customer service skills.
  • A valid DS licence.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Professional & Personable.
  • Immaculate presentation.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • 5-Year employment / educational history.


Preferred Requirements (not essential):

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or 5* hotels.
  • Emergency First Aid Certificate.
  • ACT training Certificate.
  • Conflict management training.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Uphold security policy of ASG, supervisors, and the client.
  • Static floor security assisting customers and sales associate where possible.
  • Exercising the highest standard of customer care.
  • Supporting heads of security team with day-to-day duties & incidents involving the safety and security with good practice and legislation.
  • Loss prevention & theft within the store.
  • Exercising the highest standard of customer care
  • Monitoring, securing & patrolling the store for suspicious behaviour on the premises.
  • Able to write detailed reports of any incidents to be given to your operations manager.
  • Ensuring all staff involved in any safety / or security incidents complete an incident report as soon as feasibly possible post-incident with copies to be sent to supervisor and operations manager within 24 hours.
  • Reporting discrepancies & violations from customers or staff members to higher management on site.
  • Reporting any maintenance or hazard issues to heads of security & maintenance team.

As a member of the security team, you will be required to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858.
