Loss Prevention and Security Manager

Office Based in Lytham St Annes

Permanent - 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Circa 45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Join us in making a meaningful difference in how we safeguard our business, as our new Loss Prevention and Security Manager, at Beaverbrooks. This role is responsible for implementing strategies to minimise theft, fraud, and operational loss while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in security, risk management, or retail loss prevention.

Main Responsibilities



Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to reduce shrinkage and protect company assets. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in security procedures. Monitor and analyse loss trends, providing detailed reports and recommendations to senior management. Oversee security systems, including CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and access controls. Oversee theft, fraud, and other security breaches, ensuring appropriate legal and disciplinary actions are taken. Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams on security-related matters. Develop and deliver loss prevention training for employees to foster a culture of security awareness. Collaborate with store and office teams to ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures. Manage relationships with external security providers, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and risk management.

The Ideal Candidate



ESSENTIAL SKILLS



Ability to demonstrate the values and behaviours of the Beaverbrooks Way Proven experience in loss prevention, security management, or a related field. Strong understanding of retail security, fraud detection, and risk assessment. Knowledge of legal procedures related to theft, fraud, and security incidents. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information with integrity. Proficiency in security technology, including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS



Certified Loss Prevention Professional (CLPP) or similar certification. Experience in a retail, logistics, or corporate environment.
