Full-time permanent contract on days

Our very successful manufacturing client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Logistics Manager to join and lead their fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an efficient and effective supply chain throughout the business. Driving a continuous improvement culture within the warehouse team to meet targets on movement of materials through the business and overseeing monthly budgets relating to purchasing.

As a Logistics Manager, you will:
-Be responsible for strategic planning & management of logistics, warehouse, transportation and materials
-Ensure stock accuracy on internal systems and managing annual stock take (responsible for material quantity, stock levels, delivery times and transport costs)
-Efficiently manage stock shortages
-Manage the Warehouse team (goods-in, stores and kitting) ensuring targets are being met, driving a continuous improvement culture
-Analyse data to assess performance, produce management reports and implement improvements
-Oversee monthly budgets relating to purchasing, supporting the team with price negotiations with suppliers

What are we looking for in you?
-Experience working as a Logistics Manager within manufacturing, including distribution and logistics management
-Ability to lead and manage a team
-Working in line with ISO 9001, 14001
-Experience of working closely with Purchasing/Procurement teams and budget management

Working hours:
Week 1:
Monday to Thursday: 7:45AM 5:15PM
Friday: 7:45AM 1:30PM

Week 2:
Monday to Thursday: 7:45AM 5:15PM
