Locum Speech and Language Therapist \xe2\x80\x93 Immediate Start \xe2\x80\x93 North London, UK

Our client, a well-established organisation in North London, is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a caseload of students aged 16-21 (mostly 18+) with modest special education needs and autism. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of verbal and literacy skills in these students, helping them achieve their targets and maximise their potential.

Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Collaborate with another Speech and Language Therapist to deliver targeted interventions and therapies to students
\xe2\x80\x93 Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication difficulties in line with best practice and evidence-based approaches
\xe2\x80\x93 Develop and implement individualised therapy plans, incorporating a range of techniques and strategies, to support student\xe2\x80\x99s progress and enhance their communication skills

Requirements:
\xe2\x80\x93 Proven experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, with experience working with the age group of 16-21, preferably with modest special education needs and autism
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge and experience in working with MLD, along with additional AAC skills
\xe2\x80\x93 Familiarity with PODD is advantageous, although training can be provided
