ROLE: Litigation Solicitor - Corporate & Commercial
LOCATION: Trafford - Manchester
CONTRACT: 8 Month on going
RATE: \xc2\xa350-\xc2\xa360ph
The Role-
- Provide legal advice and assistance across a range of areas arising within the post holder\'s area of responsibility including, but not limited to,:-
- Criminal and Civil Litigation including conducting own advocacy
- Provide Legal advice, assistance and representation to the Council, its Elected Members, its Officers , STAR Procurement Service, schools and other clients in a range of areas including corporate law, commercial and procurement law, criminal and civil law, regulatory law and enforcement, community safety and employment law.
- Qualified/Practising Solicitor/Lawyer or Barrister.
- Confident in a Caseload of Corporate & Commercial Litigation .
- Post will require attendance at Courts and Tribunals and at evening committees (committees are on a rota basis).
We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth \xc2\xa3250.
