: 38,626 to 41,511 per annum

: Full time, 37 hours per week

Based at County Hall, Chichester, hybrid working from home.



We're on the look out for a skilled and dedicated lawyer to join our friendly legal team within the Litigation & Insurance team.



As a Litigation lawyer, you will have conduct of a varied caseload providing advice to client groups across the council on all aspects of dispute resolution in the areas of third party and employers' liability claims, debt recovery to include adult social care debt recovery, contractual disputes and landlord and tenant.

What we are looking for:



A qualified lawyer with up to two years post-qualification (or equivalent experience). Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and to work effectively as part of a team. Experience drafting, interpreting and analysing documents, conducting legal research and undertaking advocacy. Computer literate. Experience of dispute resolution procedures, the Civil Procedure Rules 1998, and the Practice Directions.
