Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled LGV 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Experience with flatbed vehicles is highly desirable.

Working Monday to Friday starting at 7am, and finishing when drops completed.

Minimum of 8 hours paid.

Up to 20 drops/collections

Purfleet area.

Must have 1 years driving experience as a LGV driver

No more than 6 points on license

Have experience in using a tail lift

Have experience in pallet delivers

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner while ensuring the safety of the cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items, particularly on flatbed vehicles. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
