Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where each child feels valued and respected. Manage classroom behaviour effectively while promoting positive interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development, ensuring they are informed and engaged. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational programme that meets the needs of all children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement in early years education.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential. Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through play-based approaches. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to take initiative when needed. Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practices in childcare is desirable.
