About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for you. We are recruiting an apprentice to join our small but growing administrative team. Which provides administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team for SEND and Safeguarding.
In this role you will complete administrative tasks to support senior managers. You will provide support to the PA to Head of Service and Senior Business Administrators in the team. You will also work closely with the Service Support Officer.
The role will be varied, with key tasks including monitoring of inboxes, assisting meeting organisation, and taking meeting notes. You will liaise with senior managers and stakeholders regularly, therefore good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Our administrators provide a key support service to senior managers, allowing them to provide an effective and efficient service to the residents of East Sussex.
We are looking for an apprentice who is willing to learn and develop their skills. In addition, you should have good organisational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
The role is 18-months fixed term.
For the purposes of enrolment on to the apprenticeship training course, we cannot accept applications from candidates with a qualification equal to or above in a related subject, or with more than 12-24 months of work experience in an administration role.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency\'s Points-based Immigration System.
Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
