Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming skills to children aged 4 to 12, fostering a safe and enjoyable learning environment. This role requires experience in swimming teaching and the ability to educate students effectively, ensuring they develop confidence and proficiency in the water. The hours are Saturdays 1-3pm, with the possibility of extra hours during the week sometimes if required.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Assess each student's skill level and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs. Educate students on water safety practices and techniques to enhance their swimming abilities. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate fun activities while promoting skill development. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Maintain a clean and safe pool environment, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Qualifications

Level 2 Swimming Teaching. Bonus if you have parent/child. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching others.
