Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming skills, ensuring safety, and fostering a love for water activities. Your role will contribute significantly to the development of our students' swimming abilities and confidence in the water.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels. Educate students on swimming techniques, safety practices, and water awareness. Develop lesson plans that are engaging and effective in promoting skill progression. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience. Ensure a safe and positive environment during lessons by adhering to all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience in swim teaching required Level 2 Swim England or STA Award qualification essential. Strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage but not mandatory; training can be provided. A genuine passion for educating others and promoting a healthy lifestyle through swimming activities.
