Hairdresser (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Hairavanti, 68 North Street, Keighley, BD21 3RY
Job Type: 31 hours per week. 1 year contract or 2 year contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and reliable Level 2 or Level 3 Hairdresser who's confident in a range of services, enjoys working as part of a team, and thrives in a busy, welcoming environment. Whether you're newly qualified or experienced, if you've got the skills and a great attitude, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties Include:

Cutting, colouring and styling for women, men and children

Consultation and personalised client care

Maintaining salon cleanliness and hygiene

Recommending products and services to suit client needs

Supporting junior staff and apprentices (if Level 3)

Keeping up with industry trends and continuing professional development

Participating in social media content creation and promotion for all areas of the business (hair, barbering, beauty, retail)

Skills & Experience:

Strong cutting and styling ability (level 3 candidate)

Colour knowledge and technical skills (level 3 candidate)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A team player who's professional, punctual and passionate

Confident or willing to learn how to engage with social media, promoting not just hair services but also barbering, beauty and our retail offering

Flexible and confident with a wide variety of clientele

Bonus Points For:

Experience with Afro/textured hair or hair extensions

Interest in trichology or scalp care

Product knowledge (Tropic, Olaplex etc.)

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: 7.55 per hour
