We are looking for:-

Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to support our team as bank staff. Hours will be varied each month and you will work across all rooms providing cover and support where required.

You will be qualified minimum at Level 2 and be flexible with your hours.

All applicants must have paediatric first aid,

or be willing to complete this before employment begins.

This is currently a bank position but may lead to full time employment. If so, our permanent staff are offered:-

3 day week 30 hours

4 day week 37-40 hours

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed their Level 2 in early childhood education and have a genuine love for working with young children. The roles involve working with experienced practitioners to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. You will play a crucial role in supporting the fostering of children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties



Work with experienced practitioners learning how to plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of babies and children. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Learn how to observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating findings to parents or guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained. Learn how to manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children. Learn how to maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur. Learn how to communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.

Skills



An understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Some experience including successful placement work in a childcare or nursery setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A nurturing attitude towards children, fostering an environment of trust and support.
