Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Facilities Management Division based in London. As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of water systems within a variety of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments:

• Undertake comprehensive Legionella risk assessments on a range of water systems in accordance with industry guidelines and regulations.
• Identify and evaluate potential sources of Legionella contamination.

Prepare Detailed Reports:

• Document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions in clear and concise reports.
• Provide guidance on risk reduction strategies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Client Liaison:

• Communicate effectively with clients, building managers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Address client queries, provide advice, and foster strong client relationships.

Monitoring and Testing:

• Implement and oversee water monitoring programs.
• Conduct regular testing and analysis of water samples to assess Legionella levels.

Training and Awareness:

• Deliver training sessions to clients on Legionella awareness and prevention.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and communicate changes to relevant parties.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Recognized Legionella risk assessment qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NEBOSH).
• Experience: Proven experience in Legionella risk assessment within facilities management.
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines (ACoP L8, HSG274, etc.).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Location: Based in London or willingness to relocate.
