We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with excellent organisational and administration skills to work as a Legal Support Officer (LSO) in the Education and Adult Social Care Team.
The team is friendly, busy and supportive. The Social Services and Education Team specialises in education and adult social services legal work as well as child protection legal proceedings.

About the role
The post requires you to be flexible and be able to undertake a range of duties including general administrative duties and have experience of using MS Office, Outlook and Excel as well as time recording and case management software.
You will be supporting the lawyers in the team in the management of their cases, including opening files, preparation of Court bundles, liaising with the Court, Special Educational Needs Tribunal, and clients and drafting standard documents.
Some experience of working a legal environment would be preferable, ideally with some knowledge of litigation proceedings.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
