Legal Support Apprenticeship

The role



Franking & delivering post to the Post Office every afternoon Covering reception for breaks and lunchtimes Preparing meeting rooms for clients Photocopying, scanning and general paperwork Monitoring stationery and refreshment supplies across the firm, subsequently liaising with the Office manager re-ordering and ensuring that stationery is adequately stored Updating phone list / birthday lists Assisting with collections round the firm Replenishing stocks of branded merchandise through the office Sorting confidential waste & shredding documents Assisting with filing Assisting the Records and Archiving Manager & the Office Manager with storage task and data input and updating lists. Coordinating paperwork between accounts and other departments Any other relevant and admin related duty arising and as directed by the Office Manager

Future prospects



Yes there would be a full time position and opportunities to progress if the individual had impressed during their apprenticeship.

Monday to Friday



9-5 Monday to Friday 23 days of annual leave, their birthday as an additional holiday, and all Bank Holidays in England

Desired skills



4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's

Local viable commute essential

Confident with excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties Good attention to detail Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm's in-house systems where training will be given Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner Good organisational skills Good client care skills

Training to be provided



Level 3 in Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard
Course Content:

Utilising IT programs and software Decision making Managing a quality service Project management Understanding the organisation and stakeholders Relevant regulations and policies Business fundamentals Professionalism and performance management Functional skills if needed
