We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our law firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the firm runs smoothly. This position requires strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to analyse and improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the firm's growth and operational efficiency.
Set long-term goals and identify opportunities for business development and expansion.
Collaborate with partners and senior management to align the firm's strategy with market trends and client needs.
Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring all departments function smoothly.
Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Manage office facilities, technology infrastructure, and administrative support systems.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage the firm's budget, financial reports, and billing processes.
Work closely with the finance department to ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimise financial performance.
Monitor and control expenses to maintain profitability and financial health.
Human Resources
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of legal and administrative staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development programs.
Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns and disputes.
Client Relations
Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
Address client concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
Develop strategies to attract and retain clients.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure the firm complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Oversee risk management activities, including legal malpractice risks and cybersecurity threats.
Implement policies and procedures to mitigate potential risks.
Technology and Information Management
Oversee the adoption and utilization of technology tools and software to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency.
Ensure data management and information security protocols are in place and adhered to.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the legal field, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of legal practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
Familiarity with legal technology and information management systems.
Travel:
Willingness to travel as required to various office locations and client meetings.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
