Legal Counsel - South Coast HQ (hybrid 2 days a week)

Consumer focused digital scale-up going through a significant period of growth and major investment is looking to add a legal counsel to the existing team of two. Joining a supportive General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel, this is an ideal platform for an ambitious, commercial aware lawyer to build ther career in-house.

The role is wonderfully diverse, supporting the business on a range of matters including

Commercial Agreements (procurement, tech, sales, partnership), Intellectual Property, Marketing Law, Commercial Litigation, Regulatory & Compliance.

You will be naturally inquisitive, enjoy variety and adding value. You will enjoy building relationships both internally and externally in a fast paced sector.

We are looking for a qualified lawyer (Solicitor/CILECX) with at least 1+ year PQE (no upper limit) who is able to handle commercial work supporting the General Counsel. We dont need experience in all of the above, however exposure to contracts, marketing and/or litigation would be ideal.

In-house experience would be useful, however those in practice looking for their first move in-house with the necessary commercial acumen are encouraged to apply.

The salary for this role is c.60-70k plus benefits

Location South Coast/Hampshire HQ for 2 days a week - commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Winchester, Chichester and surrounds.
