We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and administrative skills, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals by managing case files, conducting research, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Legal and Client Administration
Manage debt recovery processes, ensuring timely and efficient case handling.
Manage wills administration, including scheduling appointments and witnessing signatures.
Support mediation administration by arranging appointments and responding to client queries.
Set up payment requests and process refunds for dormant balances.
Managing appointments in the office diary.
Communicating openly and efficiently with fee earners and other staff.
Highlighting any expressions of dissatisfaction to the relevant fee earner.
Delivering documents
Offering general support to the legal team as required
Office Administration & Reception Duties:
Answer office phones professionally and direct calls appropriately
Greet clients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming environment
Handle incoming and outgoing post efficiently
General office upkeep (shredding, dishwasher, tea & coffee, ensure printer is filled)
Water plants
Scanning in card receipts & answering Esther's queries
Scanning in Mail and sending to the Fee Earner
Deleting the Scan Folder
Taking office payments and processing this properly and as directed
Personal Assistant duties to the Managing Director
Marketing & Business Development Support:
Writing content and blog posts as directed.
Conducting research and compiling date.
Proof reading documents and written content.
Supporting administrative duties related to marketing and business development.
Supporting the Marketing Manager as and when needed.
Qualifications and Skills
:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
